Product Review | Match Perfection Foundation

January has given me the opportunity to try new beauty products since for Christmas and for my birthday, I received as a gift a few things which were on my whishlist. During the month I have tested them and I thought it would be a good idea to share my opinion with you all. I'll be posting and commenting on my experience with different products throughout these days so stay tuned. I hope you enjoy.

Rimmel -Match Perfection Foundation (4.00-6.00€)

This is a light/medium coverage foundation which gives a subtle glow to the skin, making it seem more luminous and brightening the complexion. It might not be the most suitable for oilier skins, but for those of us who have combination or dry skin it works pretty well as it doesn't dry out our face even more. It gives back that radiance to dull skins, unifying the tone without completely covering up the face. It provides a natural look which is what I'm always looking for. I really like to apply it with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush as I find that it helps the foundation to blend evenly with the skin. On top of that, I have to say that it has a really nice smell and that it comes with a pump, something pretty rare in drugstore foundations.

As I said before, I don't think it's the best foundation for oily skins as it may make the face a little shiny throughout the day and, as it has a light/medium coverage, it's not going to get completely rid of any spots or imperfections (however... there's nothing that a good concealer can't cover!).

Overall, I think it's a very nice product and, do you know what the best part of it is? The price. It's a drugstore, very affordable product, easy to access if you are running on a budget.
